Final walk video

Graduate Fashion Show!

In Graduate Fashion Show I was working in backstage helping Ann and everyone. Basically I was doing everything that was necessary : checking if models were dressed correctly, running to bring guy and kids on stage when was their time to walk, Helping dressers if they needed any help and What is best I was having Fun! IT was the most joyful moment of all this project.

Not to forget we did two shows that day 1.30pm and 7.30. First one was with few mistakes and disruptions
as everyone kept moving curtains and one time guys were a bit late to walk as they did not managed to change clothes fast. But the second show was really good. Everyone knew what they have to do and we did a great job!

p.s. I was surprised how friendly were models. All of them :)

Helping out with stand

One day before Graduate fashion show I helped Rochelle (and other 4 girls) to build a stands, as I was the only guy in the room I had to construct stands and put them in the right place, of course with other first years help.

After we build the stands we had to paint them and while paint were drying I helped Rochelle to prepare all the pictures and postcards to be sticked on stands.

Trend report

The target audience for this magazine was a women aged between 20-30, who lives in the city. Enjoys keeping up with the latest trends and buying one off expensive luxuries. The magazine is aimed at this target audience because it reflects the content of the magazine along side the style and layout.

To make photo shoots relevant to the mood first thing we had to do was to research trends and make "trend report". Me and Lauren were searching for it in all kind of magazines : Vogue (US, UK,France), Elle, Dazed&Confused, Style. and in loads of different fashion web sites and blogs.

I was not able to find my saved trend report but you could have seen it in Rochelle's portfolio or folders.

Editing pictures

Rochelle wanted photo shoots to be as much representative as it can be, that each of them would perfectly describe every mood. To do that she asked us to edit few pictures using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Project Aim and Rationale

The aim of this project was to develop skills in fashion styling and display the photo shoots in the form of a magazine. The theme was based on human emotions focusing on the clothes and colours of each particular mood.

I had to help Rochelle Ball to present four photo shoots in the style of a magazine. The four photo shoots were : anger, sadness, fear, and happiness.

First thing I had to do was to research emotions. Basically I was searching for pictures and photo shoots on the Internet that would represent each mood.
